Checking…

What this page is, and is not

Every line above was asked by this browser, just now, from wherever you are sitting. It is not a report of the last hour and it is not a dashboard somebody else keeps: if your campus wifi is the thing that is broken, this page will say the site is down, because from here it is.

There is no history on this page. A scheduled check runs every five minutes and opens an issue in the project's own tracker when something has been down for two checks in a row, but that tracker is private, so this page cannot read it without a credential no public page should ever hold. Rather than print a date it cannot verify, it prints the time it asked.

If a line is red and the meeting is tonight, run it without the part that is broken and say so out loud at the start. The projector works with no phones and a show of hands works with no projector, and a chapter that meets beats a chapter that waits. Whoever set your chapter up has the runbook for the rest.
